Night of Laughter and Friendship in Abergavenny

Good food. Good comedy. Good friends. Sometimes a night out is exactly what Rotary fellowship is about.

This summer, 20 Rotarians and partners headed to Casa Bianca for dinner, sat outside in the evening sun. We are definitely spoilt for choice with Abergavenny's food scene. Good food, good company, glorious weather, and you've already got the makings of a great evening.

Then it was on to the Borough Theatre for ‘Aberlaugh’. Four comedians: a North Walian comedienne, a young Govilon lad finding his feet, then two more seasoned acts who stole the show. Downstairs was packed, the balcony had a few spots left, and the whole night was a genuine treat.

It's brilliant seeing new comedians take a shot at a tough industry, and seasoned ones show why they've stuck at it.

Good food, good entertainment, good friends, and as always, good Rotary fellowship. Thank you to our fantastic Social Committee for planning yet another cracking night out.
