Rosie and Jenson went head to head at the Abergavenny Food Festival. On Sunday 20th September, Rosie & Jenson astounded the crowd in the Chef’s Kitchen, in the Upper Brewery Yard. Cooking live, the young chefs showed such confidence in an environment most would find daunting. During the Summer Break what did Abergavenny Rotary club do? Although there were no meetings our Fantastic Social Committee arranged a night out in Cardiff, a meal followed by darts. What a great night it was too, filled with friendship and fellowship. Twenty two Rotarians and partners set off by train from Abergavenny for their social night, 'Bites and Flights'. First a meal at Bill's restaurant in the City, then off to the Flight Club for a fun packed 90 minutes of darts.

Nineteen Scouts & Explorers from 1st Gilwern Scouts spent the first week of August at Poacher's International Jamboree. An event that happens every 4 years, held in Lincoln, bringing together over 5000 Scouts and Girl Guides from 20 countries across the world.
