Thank you to the Exhibitors at this year’s Abergavenny Steam Rally who donated £1517 for the President’s charity, The Wales Air Ambulance.

This money will enable The Wales Air Ambulance service to continue delivering "dedicated medical care to people across Wales, 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year.”

Their highly skilled onboard consultants & critical care practitioners use "some of the most pioneering medical equipment in the world.”

They can:

  • deliver blood transfusions

  • administer anaesthesia

  • undertake emergency operations at the scene of an incident

All before flying the patient to specialist care.

Capt. James Grenfell wrote, Thank you “Your donations are the only way we can provide this service and continue ‘Serving Wales, Saving Lives’.”

Did you know that The Wales Air Ambulance charity is the only one “based in and dedicated to the people of Wales”?

An incredible dedicated service working in partnership with The Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS), who supply the highly skilled NHS practitioners.

Patients “are at the heart of everything” they do.

The Wales Air Ambulance charity was the Abergavenny Rotary Club President’s charity for Rotary year, July 2025-26.  Chosen by our then President,  Keith Willard.  Last July Robert Evans attended a Rotary meeting for the cheque presentation.

Rotary Club Abergavenny are proud to be able to Create Lasting Impact with its support.
