Keeping Community spirit alive by volunteering
17 volunteers. One steam rally. And a friendship that goes back many years.
Before the summer, 17 members and partners from Abergavenny Rotary Club rolled up their sleeves at the Much Marcle Steam Rally. You might be asking why an Abergavenny club is volunteering over in Much Marcle.
The rally's been running since 1986, and our connection with them goes back years. Working in partnership with them, us supporting them and them supporting us, enables us to strengthen local communities, and raise money to support organisations in our local area throughout the year.
That's Service in Action. Keeping Community spirit alive by volunteering.
