The week before the Abergavenny Steam Rally is always one of our busiest times of the year.
But even with preparations in full swing, Abergavenny Rotary Club knows the importance of taking time to enjoy one another’s company, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the people who help make our community so special.
Recently, more than 30 Rotarians and partners came together for a wonderful evening at Fuzion Restaurant, Abergavenny, enjoying great food, plenty of laughter, and the fellowship that sits at the heart of Rotary.
A highlight of the evening was the opportunity to thank Lorella Attaccalite of Fuzion Restaurant and Danielle Phillips of The Gaff, who generously gave their time to judge the Rotary District Young Chef Final.
The Young Chef Competition provides young people with an incredible opportunity to develop confidence, creativity and culinary skills, and it simply wouldn’t be possible without the support and expertise of professional chefs like Lorella and Danielle.
A huge thank you also goes to the fantastic team at Fuzion for looking after us so well and helping make the evening such a memorable one.
Rotary is about much more than meetings and fundraising. It’s about friendship, connection, shared experiences and building a strong community of people who want to make a difference.
